Test Assurance Lead - Quality Engineer - Test Management
Remote within UK - travel within UK expected as required by project likely to London/Manchester & Birmingham
Contract - Inside IR35
BPSS - Clearance Preferred
Skills and Experience
Software Testing Knowledge
- Mastery of manual and automated testing, including functional, performance, security, and user acceptance testing
Automation Tools
- Proficiency with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, LoadRunner, Postman, REST-Assured

Test Management
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, Zephyr for planning, tracking, and reporting
Programming & SQL
- Skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, and database querying for test scripts and data validation.
Agile/Scrum
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint cycles
Role Description
"A lead quality assurance test analyst sets the strategy for test analysis and influences test analysis practices across a broad area. They develop, monitor and evaluate test analysis standards and methods, and make strategic decisions that improve test analysis in the organisation.

- Lead on setting standards and good practices across the test analysis community
- Lead and guide teams across the organization in test analysis
- Define and implement test strategies
- Mentor and coach other quality assurance test analysts
- Negotiate and escalate major risks, issues and defects"
