About Scrumconnect Consulting
Scrumconnect Consulting is a multi-award-winning UK public sector digital consultancy, positively influencing the lives of over forty million UK citizens. We bring deep expertise in agile delivery, digital transformation, and platform engineering across central government. With a team of over one hundred and twenty-five professionals — we are committed to building inclusive, diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve.
The Role
We are looking for a QAT with recent, hands-on experience testing web applications to join a delivery team building and improving public sector services. You will work side by side with developers from backlog refinement through to release, owning quality at feature level, building robust test automation, and shaping test strategy and planning across the Service Delivery Lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who is currently testing features day to day and is comfortable collaborating closely with developers in an agile team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Test web application features end to end, from refinement and acceptance criteria through to release.
- Work closely with developers throughout the delivery lifecycle, contributing to refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives from a quality perspective.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines so quality checks run continuously.
- Define and own test strategy and planning for web-based services.
- Identify risks, raise defects, and drive issues through to resolution.
- Promote best practice in testability, code quality, and test coverage.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
