Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Tester role based in Pill. The Quality Assurance Tester will design, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure the reliability and quality of Vanaways’ digital platforms and internal systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual testing on new features and releases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and operations teams to resolve issues. The role involves analyzing system behaviors, validating fixes, supporting regression and user acceptance testing, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and standards. The Quality Assurance Tester will help ensure the end-to-end customer journey is smooth, accurate, and consistent with Vanaways’ commitment to a drama-free experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong Quality Assurance foundation with hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Manual Testing.
  • Proficiency in designing and documenting Test Cases and performing structured Test Execution.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills for identifying defects, interpreting results, and suggesting improvements.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles, release processes, and regression testing practices.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to clearly document issues and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience testing web-based applications, customer-facing platforms, or internal business systems is beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing organization with cross-functional teams on-site.
  • Relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in testing or QA.
