Role Overview
Help shape food safety and product quality standards in a fast-paced food production environment.
As a Quality Auditor, you'll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, legality and authenticity across the site. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you'll ensure products, processes and raw materials consistently meet both internal and customer requirements.
This afternoon shift role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality while supporting continuous improvement and compliance throughout the operation.
Key Duties
- Check incoming raw materials and ingredients against internal specifications
- Carry out sampling and testing activities to verify product quality
- Monitor and verify calibration of weighing and temperature measurement equipment
- Complete routine audits in line with site procedures and customer standards
- Investigate and support the closure of non-conformance issues
- Perform process control checks to ensure adherence to specifications
- Verify correct storage, labelling and stock rotation of materials and products
- Support complaint investigations and identify opportunities for improvement

Ideal Candidate
You will be:
- Experienced in quality auditing within a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable in food safety, quality assurance and compliance requirements
- Qualified to Level 3 Food Hygiene or equivalent
- Confident communicating findings and working with colleagues across the site
- Able to investigate issues thoroughly and drive effective resolutions
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable managing priorities and achieving key objectives
Desirable experience:
- Level 3 HACCP qualification
- Experience working with fish products and seafood production environments
