Permanent Quality Co-ordinator - Grimsby
37.5 Hours Per Week | Flexible Working Hours
Hays are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Grimsby, conveniently located close to major motorway links, to recruit a Quality Coordinator.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001 or similar standards, document control, compliance or quality administration within a manufacturing or regulated environment.
The Role
Working as part of the Quality function, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting the Quality Management System, ensuring documentation and records are accurate, compliant and readily accessible.
- Coordinate customer incident investigations
- Support internal audits
- Maintain quality records
- Assist with the production of certification and compliance documentation to ensure customer requirements are met
This is a varied position offering exposure to quality systems, auditing, compliance and continuous improvement activities across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure quality procedures, records and controlled documents are accurate and up to date
- Coordinate document reviews, updates and revision control processes
- Support internal audit programmes and monitor corrective actions
- Coordinate customer incidents and support investigations through to closure
- Analyse quality data and identify trends or areas for improvement
- Produce and maintain certification and compliance documentation
- Support Quality training and induction activities
- Maintain quality-related information within business systems
- Support customer representatives visiting the site and liaise with internal stakeholders
- Assist the wider quality team with compliance and quality improvement activities

About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience working in a Quality, Compliance, Document Control or Quality Administration role
- Previous exposure to a Quality Management System such as ISO 9001 or similar
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Desirable Experience
- Internal auditing experience
- ISO 9001 auditing experience
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or regulated environment
- Knowledge of SAP or similar business systems
- Experience supporting investigations, corrective actions or continuous improvement activities
