AVP Quality Control Analyst, Financial Crime
Location: Glasgow
Rate: Up to £400 per day, Inside IR35
Level: AVP

The Opportunity
We are supporting a leading UK financial services company with a major Financial Crime programme and are looking for experienced AVP Quality Control Analysts to provide immediate operational support within its Financial Crime function.
This role would suit someone with a strong background in Financial Crime operations who has significant hands-on experience conducting independent quality reviews across KYC, AML, investigations or related case management activity.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent Quality Control reviews across Financial Crime cases.
- Assess cases for quality, accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identify control weaknesses, errors and potential areas of non-compliance.
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring quality issues.
- Identify trends and recommend improvements to processes and controls.
- Produce clear and accurate QC findings and management reporting.
- Provide constructive feedback to case workers and operational teams.
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance and Financial Crime stakeholders.

Experience Required
- 5+ years' experience within Banking or Financial Services.
- Proven hands-on Quality Control experience.
- Strong background within Financial Crime, AML, KYC, Risk, Compliance or Investigations.
- Experience independently reviewing complex cases.
- Strong understanding of regulated processes and control environments.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify control weaknesses and complete root cause analysis.
- Strong written communication and reporting skills.
- Comfortable operating at AVP or equivalent level.
