About The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Control Inspector will carry out inspection activities across Mirus manufacturing operations, ensuring products and components conform to engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards.

In this role, you will take responsibility for completing accurate and timely inspections, identifying and recording non-conformances, and working collaboratively with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to support effective resolution of quality issues. You’ll help maintain a high standard of product quality throughout the manufacturing process, from incoming components through to completed aircraft seating assemblies.

You will work closely with the wider Quality team to maintain inspection records, support continuous improvement activities, and ensure that quality concerns are communicated clearly and addressed effectively. This is an important hands-on role for someone who takes pride in getting the detail right and wants to make a positive contribution to the quality of our products.

Your Main Responsibilities

In your role as our Quality Inspector, you will:

  • Carry out inspection of components, parts, and completed assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and quality requirements.
  • Complete accurate inspection records and documentation, including FAI reports, ensuring results are recorded clearly and traceably.
  • Identify, record, and communicate non-conforming products and support the appropriate containment and disposition activities.
  • Use appropriate measuring and inspection equipment to verify dimensional and visual requirements.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and support effective corrective actions.
  • Support first-off, in-process, and final inspection activities as required across the manufacturing process.
  • Raise quality concerns promptly and provide clear feedback to relevant stakeholders to help prevent recurrence.
  • Support internal quality initiatives, continuous improvement activities, and the maintenance of a strong quality culture across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
