We’re hiring: Quality Control Inspector

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our fabricated products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer expectation.
This is an opportunity to join a business where your technical expertise will be valued, your contribution will be visible, and you’ll work closely with colleagues, clients and third-party inspectors to deliver quality at every stage.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the Nexos team, you’ll take ownership of a range of Quality Control activities, including:
- Coordinating QC activities across the fabrication process
- Reviewing and issuing job packs, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and verified
- Reviewing material certification and generating NDE requests
- Carrying out pre and post visual weld inspections and weld process audits
- Completing dimensional inspections prior to NDT
- Ensuring NDT requirements, dimensional tolerances and certification are correct prior to final release
- Liaising with third-party inspectors and client representatives
- Maintaining full traceability of weld and material information
- Preparing and reviewing quality documentation and final dossiers
- Building strong working relationships across Production, Quality, Management and client teams

What we’re looking for
You’ll bring:
- Experience working within a fabrication environment
- Previous inspection experience
- CSWIP 3.1 qualification
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to solve problems, prioritise effectively and deliver to deadlines
Even better if you have:
- Radiographic Interpreter PCN Level 2
- Experience coordinating internal resources and third-party inspectors

📍 Location: Assigned Fabrication Facility
