Quality Control Manager

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our client, a joinery manufacturer based in Co. Tyrone.

Working closely with the production teams and factory floor, you will be responsible for ensuring all products meet required design specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the inspection of incoming materials, including timber quality, moisture content, and hardware components.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Verify that all manufactured items align with technical drawings, dimensions, and finish specifications.
  • Supervise quality inspectors across the factory floor.
  • Collaborate closely with machinists, assemblers, and finishers to address quality issues as they arise.
  • Identify defects such as alignment errors, finish imperfections, or material faults, and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to minimise rework and reduce waste.
  • Establish and uphold quality standards tailored to joinery products and materials, including timber, veneers, laminates, and finishes.
