Do you have experience working in Quality Control and are looking for a new challenge? SIS Manufacturing Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-driven Quality Control Manager to join our growing manufacturing site in Maryport, Cumbria.

The Role
As Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards across our artificial turf production. This includes monitoring production processes, inspecting raw materials and finished products, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other quality certifications. You will collaborate closely with technical, manufacturing and leadership teams to uphold SIS’s commitment to exceptional quality.
You will also contribute to operations management, covering for the Head of Operations when required, and leading internal audits and third-party certification processes.

Key Responsibilities
- To monitor and measure the quality standards of finished goods to ensure that all artificial turf products that leave the Factory are fit for purpose, in compliance with the production specification and is representative of the Company's commitment to the highest quality standards in the sports surface and artificial turf market.
- To assist in the development, implementation, review and continual improvement of quality standards and quality management systems.
- To assist in the daily running of Operations and provide support cover in the absence of the Head of Operations.
- To oversee the management of the ISO 9001 certification system.
- To manage and co-ordinate the control documentation, audit and certification processes relating to ISO/certified business management systems.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications (FIFA, Health & Safety).
- Proficient in testing procedures, measurements, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and positive approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
