Swindon Installation Depot

32 hours per week – flexible days and working hours

£12.71 per hour

TWC Home Improvements, part of TWC Home Group Limited, is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Quality Control Operative to join our team at our Swindon Installation Depot.

The role involves checking products and completed orders to ensure they meet the required standards before being approved for dispatch or installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspecting products for quality, accuracy and damage
  • Checking measurements, materials and workmanship against job specifications
  • Ensuring completed orders are correct and complete
  • Identifying, recording and reporting defects or inconsistencies
  • Preventing unsuitable or non-conforming products from being dispatched
  • Ensuring identified issues are corrected before approval
  • Carrying out final quality-control checks before dispatch
  • Maintaining clear and accurate quality-control records
  • Communicating quality concerns to the relevant manager or department
  • Following company procedures and health and safety requirements
  • Helping to maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment

Previous experience in quality control, windows and doors, warehousing or a similar practical environment would be beneficial, although full training can be provided to the right person.

Hours and Pay

This position offers 32 hours per week.

Working days and hours will be arranged flexibly by agreement, based on the requirements of the business and the successful candidate’s availability.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
