- Raw materials
- Intermediate lacquers
- Liquid products
- Coated films

- Provide Go-No Go decisions on materials tested against approved manufacturing specifications.
- Communicate QC decisions to stakeholders and update electronic systems to track stock levels, ensuring compliant materials advance through the supply chain.
Problem Resolution & Containment
- Implement containment procedures for non-compliant materials.
- Execute quarantine protocols in SAP to prevent use or customer delivery.
- Conduct thorough investigations into out-of-specification materials alongside Quality Engineers.
Customer Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain and produce accurate QC documentation (test record sheets, COAs) to confirm material integrity for customers.
- Prepare quality-related records while adhering to regulatory and customer standards.
Training & Collaboration
- Champion quality standards across the QC department.
- Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure product compliance.
- Develop the ability to train and mentor junior team members.
- liaise with cross-functional stakeholders on broader quality improvements.
Flexibility & Scope
- Willingness to work shifts (on a 3-shifts a 3-week rotation basis).
Job Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Extensive experience in:
- Quality Control within a manufacturing environment
- Conducting physical, functional, and cosmetic testing against specifications
- Strong knowledge of:
- Laboratory techniques, chemical handling, and analytical testing
- Safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Systemic approach to:
- Following test procedures and work instructions precisely
- Analytical problem-solving
Professional Skills
- Strong interpersonal communication to relay critical QC feedback.
- Self-discipline to:
- Adhere to specifications despite external pressures
- Seek guidance from senior team members when needed
- Develop training and mentoring skills with experience.
- Proficient in IT systems related to quality documentation.
- High literacy and attention to detail for regulatory documentation.
