Role Description
The Quality Control (QC) Analyst/Senior Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of London. This position is responsible for:
- Performing routine and non-routine QC testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished medical cannabis products to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Preparing and reviewing test documentation.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Recording and analyzing data.
- Supporting the investigation of out-of-specification or non-conformance results.
- Collaborating with Quality Assurance and Production teams to implement quality improvements.
- Supporting internal and external audits.
- Contributing to continuous enhancement of laboratory processes and procedures.

- Strong Quality Control and Quality Management skills, including experience with laboratory testing, data analysis, and documentation.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, with the ability to support deviation investigations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in a regulated environment, preferably pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical cannabis.
- Exposure to Quality Auditing activities, such as preparing for inspections and contributing to audit responses.
- Relevant degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology) or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in using laboratory instrumentation and standard QC methods; familiarity with LIMS or similar systems is an advantage.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in the medical cannabis, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sector is beneficial.
