Job Opportunity

We are sourcing a Quality Control Supervisor on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at our facility in Great Yarmouth, the Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the Quality Control Office, appropriate delegation of its operations, and professional communication between its staff and those reliant on those operations. Maintain a safe, healthy environment within the office as required by our HSE Policies and remain compliant to the held standards and requirements of our ISO, API, F4N, and PED-PER certifications.

Duties & Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the compliance of all Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies set within the organization.
  • Responsible for the daily update and entry of third-party witness, validation, and certification onto their specific portals (DNV and BV).
  • Liaise daily with all Operations Managers for the smooth transition of work involving transport, certification, and receipt of stock and Goods Inward certification.
  • Assist the QA/QC Manager in the completion of Internal Audits.
  • Assist in the production and reviewing of certification and MRB Packages.
  • Assist in the support of personnel within the QC Department where appropriate and promote a positive drive within the QC Department.
  • Responsible for the reviewing and acceptance of material certification into the organization's quality management system.
  • Responsible for the arrangement, documentation, and transport of all inspection test equipment re-calibration.
  • Assist in the communication and the arrangement of third-party inspector witnesses & validations.
  • Assist the QA/QC Manager in the setting of objectives, maintaining, and improving the quality management system to the requirements of our held certification standards.
  • Assist customers and visitors with general enquiries, queries, and technical knowledge.
  • Responsible for the fair and unbiased sharing of office workload with other office personnel to maintain an up-to-date smooth-running operation.
  • Assist the QA/QC Manager in the forecasting of further training and mentoring of QC personnel.
  • Assist in the raising of Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes and any other related quality control documentation.

Required

  • Minimum 5 years in a Supervisory role in an engineering environment.
  • Good understanding of both general and technical Quality Management Systems for the Oil & Gas Industries.
  • Experience of internal auditing would be an advantage.
  • Experience of managing/leading a team.
