Role Description
The Quality Control Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Derby. This role oversees daily quality control operations, ensuring all products meet Palome’s standards for craftsmanship, consistency, and safety.

Responsibilities

- Supervising quality control staff
- Planning and monitoring inspection activities
- Reviewing test and inspection results
- Resolving quality issues in collaboration with the warehouse teams
- Maintaining and improving quality assurance procedures
- Documenting findings
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the returns process
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance management, and training capabilities.
- Solid Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills for monitoring, inspecting, and improving product standards.
- Robust Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions.
- Relevant experience in luxury manufacturing, textiles, fashion, or consumer goods quality management is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with production and design teams.
- Knowledge of quality standards, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., ISO, Lean, or similar frameworks) is an advantage.
- A relevant diploma or degree in quality management, engineering, science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
