Are you passionate about Quality Control? Do you have notable experience with textile-based products? Are you process driven?

We’re partnering with a growing business based in Dundee, Scotland, who have an immediate requirement for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join on a permanent basis. This is not a caretaker role; you’ll be instrumental in bringing new ideas to the table and implementing change across the quality function.

About You

First and foremost, it is essential that you have a strong background in textile manufacturing whether that be wet or dry processing. You’ll have proven experience in a similar role as Quality Manager, QC Manager, Quality & Technical Manager, or a senior quality role where you’re looking for your next step up.

Ideally, you’ll have previously managed or supervised a team. Your experience should span laboratory and technical testing, in-process QC, chemical compliance (COSHH), and final inspection/release. You’ll be genuinely excited by joining a business who are growing year on year and the opportunities that will present to you and your own personal development.

About The Job

You’ll be responsible for all aspects of quality – ensuring compliance with set standards and customer expectations. Day to day supervision of the team, in-process quality control, final inspection, release, and product testing. Upkeep of ISO 9001 QMS. You will manage customer relationships and supplier quality audits.
