About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for a 12-month maternity cover role, testing and preparing samples as received and/or produced at the Bletchley facility. You will be onsite 5 days per week.

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with complex mixtures isolated from various products. You will use your experience in Analytical Chemistry to develop relevant analytical methodologies and carry out full qualitative and quantitative analyses.

What You Will Do

  • Perform daily chemical analysis on related raw material and manufactured products
  • Conduct chemical extractions on selected botanical ingredients
  • Prepare all related products for sensory assessment
  • Follow GMP and assist in EMP procedures in line with company policy and business objectives
  • Provide production support on in-process testing, corrective actions, and root cause analysis
  • Maintain records of all analyses and reference samples

You Will Have

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry or another Science discipline
  • Experience in the field of flavor product chemistry or in Analytical Chemistry is preferred
  • Necessary skill and experience in the food and flavor sector are essential
  • Capable to work to GMP standards
  • The ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Numerical/data entry and report writing experience is essential
