Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Controller role based in Stanford Le Hope. The Quality Controller will perform daily inspections of incoming and outgoing citrus products to ensure they meet company standards for freshness, appearance, and safety.

  • Monitoring quality processes
  • Recording inspection results
  • Supporting root-cause analysis of non-conformances
  • Collaborating with operations and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
  • Maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting internal audits
  • Providing feedback to growers and packing teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Contributing to training colleagues on quality procedures and promoting best practices across the site

Qualifications

  • Strong Quality Control skills, including product inspection, defect identification, and adherence to defined quality standards.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with the ability to support continuous improvement and maintain compliance with food safety and industry regulations.
  • Background in Auditing, including participation in internal audits, documentation reviews, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Training skills, with the ability to support onboarding and coach team members on quality procedures and policies.
  • Previous experience in food production, fresh produce, or a similar environment is highly beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and accurate record-keeping abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or certification in quality, food technology, or a related field is an advantage.
