Be part of our Quality team at our Stonehouse site in Gloucestershire.
Join our Quality team as a Quality Controller and play a key role ensuring all products produced onsite meet necessary criteria and standards by performing inspections, in process checks and release checks, batch reviews and complete all relevant documentation according to GDP requirements.
Based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, working in a shift pattern, you will become part of a team of 9 professionals who look forward to shaping the future together with you.
Shift pattern:
- one week Monday to Thursday 5:30am to 14:00
- Friday 06:00am to 11:00am
- the following week Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00
- Friday 11:00am to 18:00
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
- On a daily basis you will be responsible for Mouldshop inspections, In process and batch release checks in the mould shop, First Off approval in the mould shop, Goods In inspection and release, as well as inspection and release in the packing department
- You will routinely check plastic parts and components, machines and processes against specifications
- You will actively report and communicate any issues arises to the QC Supervisor and the rest of the team
- Liaising and working closely with Quality and Production team continuously including outcome of inspections and findings
- Dealing with daily quality issues and failures and informing relevant departments of nay failures
- You will record non – conformances into the system (SAP) and take appropriate actions
- You will follow ISO 9001, ISO13485 and regulatory IVD requirements as well as good documentation practice (GDP) and ensure compliance at all times
- Working part of the team as well as independently

What will convince us
- Experience in a quality control role in manufacturing or production environment in the pharmaceutical or medial industry following ISO standards would be ideal though candidates from other industries will also be considered i.e.: automotive, food, aerospace etc.
- Experience of reading engineering drawings would be ideal though not essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, to be able to juggle multiple processes and priorities
- Flexible approach to work
- Experience of using a CMM either Aberlink and/or Zeiss would be desirable but not essential
