Quality Controller FMCG

Marden, Kent

Our client, an established business within the FMCG sector, is looking for a dedicated Quality Controller to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards.

The Role

As a Quality Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring that products meet quality, safety, and customer specifications before they reach customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect products for quality, appearance, and specification compliance.
  • Identify and report defects, damage, or quality concerns.
  • Monitor storage conditions.
  • Complete accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Assist with product sampling and quality testing.
  • Work closely with colleagues to investigate and resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and company quality standards.
  • Support the training of new team members where required.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous quality control experience, ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • Understands storage and inspection processes.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and can identify issues quickly.
  • Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Holds a driving license (preferred).

Working Hours

  • Alternating weekend working is required.
  • Shifts are typically 10-12 hours, with flexibility to work longer during busy periods.
