Quality Controller Position
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Controller at our Fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of Work
- 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern
- Working 6am to 6pm
Salary
- £13.17 per hour

- Conducting regular inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Documenting and reporting quality issues promptly to the quality management team.
- Working closely with production staff to educate and enforce quality standards at every stage of production.
- Assisting in the implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Taking product samples and performing necessary tests to assess quality attributes.
- Maintaining accurate records of quality inspections and tests conducted.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quality control or assurance within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and food safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict quality standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about new quality practices and technologies.
