Role Overview
As a Quality Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant teleradiology services. Working as part of the Quality Team, you will provide operational, administrative, and clinical governance support, ensuring compliance with CQC, QSI, NHS, and internal quality standards.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, Senior Quality Coordinator, Medical Director, and wider clinical teams, you will coordinate quality assurance activities, support audits, manage discrepancies and incidents, maintain compliance documentation, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day activities of the Quality Team, ensuring quality processes are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Coordinate and administer clinical quality activities, including client audits, reporter audits, peer review programmes, discrepancies, clinical meetings, and quality reporting.
- Monitor, record, and manage discrepancies, errors, and quality events, ensuring they are processed in line with company procedures and escalated appropriately.
- Assist with the investigation of complaints, incidents, and external enquiries, gathering relevant information and supporting documentation.
- Support the administration of CQC, QSI, UKAS, NHS, and internal quality compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate quality records, policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to internal and external audits and support the implementation of resulting actions.
- Assist with onboarding new reporters, monitoring validation cases and targeted quality audits.
- Monitor quality KPIs and support the production of quality reports for senior management.
- Liaise with operational, clinical, and IT teams to resolve issues affecting service quality.
- Act as a point of contact for quality-related operational queries from clients and reporters.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and support the development of quality management processes.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, Information Governance, confidentiality, and company policies at all times.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Operations and wider Operations team as required.

Essential
- Previous experience in a healthcare quality, governance, compliance, medical administration, or healthcare coordination role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, operational, and administrative teams.
- Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and information governance requirements.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Desirable
- Experience supporting CQC, QSI, UKAS, or NHS compliance activities.
- Knowledge of clinical governance, risk management, complaints handling, or incident management.
- Familiarity with PSIRF principles.
- Experience working within radiology or teleradiology services.
- Familiarity with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and radiology workflow systems.
- Understanding of peer review, discrepancy management, and clinical audit processes.
- Level 3 Safeguarding (or willingness to undertake training).
