Are you an experienced apprenticeship quality and curriculum professional who can turn quality standards, performance insight and curriculum strategy into consistently strong learner experiences and outcomes?
The Colleges’ Partnership (TCP) is looking for a Quality & Curriculum Manager to operationally lead quality assurance, curriculum, standards and performance improvement across our programmes. Reporting to the Director of Quality, you’ll ensure curricula are well designed, sequenced and implemented, and that teaching, learning and assessment meet organisational, regulatory and contractual requirements.
You’ll manage the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) team and direct delivery team, working with delivery managers, subject specialists and other stakeholders to improve curriculum delivery, learner progress and outcomes. You’ll also act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL).
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the development, implementation and continuous review of apprenticeship curricula, ensuring clear and appropriately sequenced learning journeys.
- Ensuring curricula are mapped to apprenticeship standards, assessment plans, qualifications, Functional Skills requirements and employer needs.
- Leading operational quality assurance across the provision and driving consistently high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Using achievement, retention, progression, stakeholder feedback, observation and quality data to identify priorities and implement improvements.
- Managing and developing the IQA team and direct delivery team, ensuring effective quality assurance arrangements and appropriate support for delivery staff.
- Maintaining operational readiness for Ofsted and other external quality assurance, awarding organisation, funding and contractual scrutiny.
- Leading observation of teaching, learning and assessment and contributing to the Self-Assessment Report (SAR), Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and wider quality improvement cycle.
- Monitoring curriculum quality, learner progress, performance and risk, providing clear reports and recommendations to the Director of Quality.

What You’ll Bring:
- Recognised assessor and internal quality assurance qualifications, or equivalent.
- A recognised teaching qualification at Level 4 or above.
- A proven track record in apprenticeship curriculum management.
- Strong working knowledge of Ofsted inspection requirements for further education and skills.
- Understanding of DfE/DWP funding regulations and the associated Apprenticeship Training Provider Accountability Framework.
- Experience of working collaboratively to monitor and improve the quality and success of apprenticeship delivery.
- Experience using technology to support delivery, together with strong digital literacy and Microsoft package skills.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, organisational and time-management skills.
- A full driving licence, use of a car and willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
