A well-established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement Team Leader to join its growing quality function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role, driving quality performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across a multi-site operation.
Your New Role
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in analysing quality performance, maintaining quality systems, driving process improvements, and leading a team to ensure the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing quality data, customer complaints, returns and non-conformances to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Producing weekly and monthly quality reports, KPI dashboards and performance updates.
- Monitoring quality metrics and driving corrective actions where required.
- Supporting ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement activities across the business.
- Providing technical quality support and guidance to operational teams.
- Leading and developing a quality-focused culture centred around right-first-time performance.
- Supporting the implementation of quality system improvements, policy updates and customer requirements.
- Assisting with internal audits, re-audits and external audit preparation.
- Managing, mentoring and developing team members to achieve departmental objectives.
- Promoting efficient working practices, innovation and the use of technology to improve processes.
- Collaborating closely with managers and supervisors to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Supporting quality initiatives across multiple sites as required.

What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience within a quality, compliance or continuous improvement role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Experience analysing quality data and producing meaningful reports and KPIs.
- Internal auditing experience or knowledge of audit processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation.
- Competent IT skills and experience using quality reporting systems.
- The flexibility to travel to other sites when required.
