Lead Quality Excellence on One of Europe’s Most Complex Nuclear Construction Programmes

At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you can play your part as a Quality Director at Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater, Somerset.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance works across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms.

The role

As a Quality Director, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Being part of the MEH Alliance working on Hinkley Point C is a chance to be involved in a major project with national significance. This is a high-profile leadership role where you'll drive quality assurance, quality control, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across a complex multi-partner alliance.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Leading the quality strategy across the alliance, ensuring quality is fully integrated throughout project delivery.
  • Driving consistency by aligning quality standards, processes, governance, and expectations across multiple alliance partners.
  • Overseeing the production, verification, and timely acceptance of quality records and documentation.
  • Building a culture of accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Providing strategic leadership on quality performance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and organisational capability development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
