Job Title: Quality Director
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: To £65,000
Benefits: Car Allowance + wider benefits package
We are working with an established UK nursery provider to recruit a Quality Director within their Yorkshire team. Responsible for quality and compliance across 3 nurseries, with ambitions to double in the future, you will take ownership of Ofsted readiness, curriculum standards and safeguarding across the region, working closely with the Regional Manager and nursery managers to embed a shared standard of excellence. This is a varied and exciting role where you will be afforded the opportunity to shape the quality framework for the region and genuinely influence policies and procedures. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to build a quality function from close to the ground up, not just maintain what's already there.

What you'll be responsible for:
- Leading quality assurance and compliance across all Yorkshire settings, ensuring consistent EYFS delivery across the region.
- Preparing nurseries for Ofsted inspections and maintaining inspection readiness year round, working towards Outstanding across all sites.
- Carrying out regular audits and quality checks across the region, with clear action plans where gaps are found.
- Overseeing safeguarding practice and policy across the region, supporting managers to resolve issues as they arise.
- Designing and delivering training that raises quality and consistency across teams.
- Working closely with the Regional Manager and site managers to embed a shared quality framework.
- Leading on quality integration during acquisitions, ensuring new settings are brought up to standard quickly and smoothly.

This role will be perfect for:
- An established quality or compliance lead with a proven track record of raising standards across multiple nursery or early years sites.
- You've worked at setting level so you understand the practical realities managers face, and you know Ofsted requirements inside and out.
- You're passionate about pushing every setting towards Outstanding, and you're just as comfortable writing policy as you are in a room talking to staff.
