Role Details
The Quality Director will lead the development and execution of the MEH Alliance Quality Strategy to ensure that the programme delivers the required quality standards, documentation, and assurance records in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
The role will ensure that quality is embedded into how the Alliance plans, executes, and records its work, enabling the programme to demonstrate that the Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC scope has been installed and verified in accordance with nuclear safety and regulatory expectations.
A critical priority for the role is to address one of the most significant programme risks: the timely creation, validation, and acceptance of quality records.
The Quality Director will establish the systems, governance, behaviours, and culture required to ensure that quality documentation is produced, right first time, at the point of installation, rather than retrospectively.
The role will also lead the development of a strong and consistent quality culture across the Alliance, aligning partner organizations behind a shared approach to quality delivery and assurance.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for integrating quality across multiple partners, disciplines, and delivery teams in one of the largest and most complex nuclear construction programmes in Europe.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
