Job Title: Quality Engineer – metal coatings department
Location: Near Lincoln
Salary: up to £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (37.5hrs)
Holidays and Benefits: 270hrs Holidays per year, holiday sell back scheme to top up December pay, Employer pays up to 9% pension, BUPA Private Health Care
Overview:
We now require a Quality Engineer to join the metals coatings department. Working for a large manufacturer that have sites across the world, you will work closely with quality and production, with a key focus on process improvements in the metals coating department.

Overview of duties:
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance through audits, KPI reporting, and quality documentation.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and site teams to maintain high quality standards.
- Provide training and support to promote a strong quality culture.
The ideal candidate:
Quality Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Experience in a quality environment within manufacturing
- Experience in an IS9001 OR AS9100 environment
- Experience conducting internal audits
- Previous experience in coatings of materials, materials science, metallurgy.
- Degree educated in a mechanical engineering / materials discipline
