Position Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ability through utilising the most effective quality tools to problem solve non-conformances, to identify root cause and implement continuous improvement.
  • To investigate reported non-conformances, both internally and externally from customer complaints.
  • Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and change point control management.
  • Experience of working cross functionally with other departments in the business to resolve concerns and promote quality.
  • Preparation of quality system documentation. E.g. Quality Control Plan (QCP), flow charts, Quality Audit (QA) plans, procedures, and instructions.
  • Capable of interpreting technical drawings and measuring to determine if a component is in allowable specification limits.
  • Advantageous to be qualified to support internal audit programme to ISO 9001.
  • Any other reasonable action required for the effective function of the Quality Department or the Company as a whole.
  • Comply with all current work instructions within the organisation.
  • Comply fully with all current health, safety & environmental regulations in operation within the company whilst carrying out your duties.

Required/Preferred Qualifications/Education

  • Undergraduate degree or higher national diploma in Engineering or similar, or equivalent relevant experience.
