Quality Engineer (Part-Time)
We are looking for a proactive and technically-minded Quality Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or quality environment who enjoys solving problems, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement.
About Contra Vision
The inventor of one-way vision graphics, Contra Vision’s window film products are highly visible on the high street, transport hubs, sports stadiums, vehicles, offices, and retail stores for advertising and privacy across the globe. The company has operated for more than 40 years and is well respected in its specialist field for its continual innovation, creativity, and technical expertise. Its small but dynamic team of 25 people are employed across different countries, with more than half in our UK office in Bramhall, near Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer complaints and quality investigations.
- Conducting root cause analysis and coordinating corrective actions.
- Producing quality, product, and performance reports.
- Supporting REACH and other regulatory compliance activities.
- Maintaining technical documentation and product specifications.
- Coordinating external product testing and certification programmes.
- Liaising with suppliers, laboratories, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring product performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment.
- Previous quality assurance or quality engineering experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with suppliers and customers.
- A proactive approach and desire to make a positive impact.
