Quality Engineer
Location: Bristol
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Salary: Up to £41,000
Employment Type: Permanent
The Role
BMR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation in Bristol.
As a Quality Engineer, your mission will be to continually improve management systems by identifying issues and proactively working with local and global teams to improve processes. You will ensure that processes align with global business requirements, international standards and customer expectations.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the organisation's quality management systems, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring robust compliance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the effective implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Document Management System in line with global requirements, international standards and customer requirements.
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established processes and standards.
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses.
- Lead cross-functional quality and business continuity projects.
- Maintain and manage the internal quality audit programme.
- Conduct business management system audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work collaboratively with relevant teams to implement effective solutions.
- Support and mentor junior members of the team.
- Work closely with local and global stakeholders to drive consistent quality standards and continuous improvement.

Location
This role is based in Bristol and offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing flexibility to work remotely alongside time spent on-site.
