Your Role

As a Quality Engineer, your mission is to continually improve management systems at PC Clevedon by identifying issues and working proactively within local and global teams to improve processes. To ensure that processes align with Atlas Copco global requirements, international standards and customer requirements. You will report to the Quality Manager.

You Will

  • Drive the effective implementation and improvement of the Quality Document Management System at product company Clevedon in line with Atlas Copco global requirements, international standards, and customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans
  • Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses
  • Mentor and train junior staff
  • Lead cross-functional quality and continuity projects
  • Maintain the internal quality audit program
  • Conduct business management system audits

  • Must be a good communicator and have excellent fluency in spoken and written English with the ability to explain complex issues in non-technical language
  • Coaching, listening and questioning skills with an open mind to consider other people’s views when developing solutions
  • Demonstrates strong self-awareness and self-regulation especially under times of pressure
  • Customer, commercial awareness (preferred)
  • High levels of self-motivation with the ability to manage projects and tasks through to completion

Job Location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our office in Bristol, United Kingdom (GB).
