Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role based in Leamington. The Quality Engineer will oversee and improve quality processes across sheet metal prototypes and production, ensuring components and assemblies meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Performing inspections
- Monitoring quality metrics
- Investigating non-conformances
- Implementing corrective and preventive actions
The role involves collaborating with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues, optimize manufacturing processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer will also maintain documentation and records for quality audits, support customer quality requirements, and contribute to the ongoing resilience and reliability of products in automotive and defense applications.

- Strong skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Management, with the ability to design, implement, and improve quality systems and processes.
- Hands-on experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, including inspections, testing, and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide internal and external customers with all necessary documentation and participate fully with Tecman and customer requirements, e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other Quality Reporting Systems.
- Proven focus on Product Quality, ensuring components and assemblies meet technical specifications and customer expectations.
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, or defense manufacturing environments, ideally with sheet metal or precision engineered components.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and interface with customers and suppliers.
- Relevant technical qualification or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
