Quality Engineer
Location: Redditch
Contract: Permanent

EMBS Talent is recruiting a Quality Engineer for a growing precision aerospace manufacturer. This is a newly created role reflecting continued company growth, offering the opportunity to take real ownership of quality on new aerospace parts from initial design right through to production and delivery.
Working closely with the New Product Introduction team, you will play a key role in supporting new parts through inspection, documentation, and customer qualification, helping to ensure products meet the highest standards of conformity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality engineering support across new product introduction projects, working closely with the wider project team.
- Take ownership of quality activities for aerospace parts from initial design through to production and delivery.
- Compile and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9102 requirements.
- Review inspection results to confirm conformity against drawings and technical specifications.
- Compile, review, and approve technical and quality documentation to support part qualification.
- Prepare and submit qualification packages and supporting evidence to customers.
- Carry out internal procedure reviews to support ongoing compliance with AS standards.
- Liaise with engineering, production, and customer teams to resolve quality issues on new parts.

Essential Requirements
- Experience working as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards.
- Proven experience compiling and submitting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Experience preparing quality documentation and customer qualification submissions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage part quality end-to-end, from design through to delivery.

Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience within the aerospace sector.
- Experience carrying out internal quality audits.
