Quality Engineer
6 Month Contract (Inside IR35)
Location: Tewkesbury
Industry: Aerospace / Production / Manufacturing
Pay Rate: £40-£50 per hour (DOE)
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client's team at their state-of-the-art facility based in Tewkesbury on a contract basis.
Our client designs and manufactures complex mechanical products for global application in the aerospace and defence sectors.
Key Deliverables
- Production or Manufacturing Quality specifically.
- Defect investigations / root cause analysis / 8D Investigations
- Corrective action / improvement introduction
- Responsibility for day-to-day Quality Assurance activities
- Quality systems maintenance and improvement, where required.
- Support the planning and delivery of quality activities.
- Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities across manufacturing.
- Help ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements (e.g. AS9100, CAA, EASA)

Background
- Strong problem-solving tools (e.g. 8D, RCCA)
- Experience of working in an AS9100 environment.
- Knowledge and practical experience with PFMEA.
- Experience in supporting Production and Manufacturing.
