STA/Quality Engineer
The COMPANY
Our client is an independent company who have carved themselves a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhausts, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers. Their reputation and expertise is such that many of the most prestigious manufactures utilise their services. We are proud to be an integral part of our clients continuing success which has resulted in a bulging order book and a recent expansion to a new purpose designed production facility. The company is proud to have received the Queens Award for Enterprise.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to become an integral part of our Clients team. The Quality/Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer (STA Engineer) will be responsible for supporting the management on all quality related issues. The minutia of the role includes:

- Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues
- Defect root cause analysis : using Global 8D process
- Work to and audit the BMS (Business Management System) including TS16949/ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 or ISO45001
- Assist with product and process audits
The CANDIDATE
The right Quality Engineer/STA Engineer candidate will possess:
- Experience of working in Quality Assurance
- Good academic background
- Sis Sigma skills
- APQP, PPAP and FEMA practical experience
- TS16949 and ISO9000 knowledge
- Understanding of ISO14001, OHSAS18001, ISO45001
