We're recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a world-leading manufacturer of vacuum and abatement technologies used within the semiconductor industry. Their products are essential in the production of advanced microchips that power everything from smartphones and data centres to cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence applications.

The Role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the organisation's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with company standards, customer requirements and recognised international standards.
You will work closely with teams across the business to identify risks, improve processes, conduct audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management Systems
- Lead the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure documentation, procedures and processes remain compliant and up to date
- Drive best practice across quality processes and standards

Auditing & Compliance
- Plan, conduct and support internal quality audits
- Perform business management system audits
- Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, customer and internal requirements
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and business processes
- Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities
- Lead improvement projects across multiple departments
Risk & Business Continuity
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses
- Support the development and maintenance of business continuity plans
- Help the organisation identify and mitigate operational risks
Training & Stakeholder Engagement
- Coach and mentor colleagues on quality standards and best practice
- Deliver guidance and support to teams across the business
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Experience working within a Quality Engineering, Quality Systems or Quality Assurance role
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems
- Experience conducting internal audits and supporting compliance activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain complex issues in a clear and practical manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Desirable Experience
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or a highly regulated environment
- Knowledge of business continuity planning and risk management
- Customer and commercial awareness
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects
- Familiarity with recognised quality standards such as ISO systems
