Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality risk assessments using recognised methodologies such as FMEA and HACCP, ensuring effective mitigation plans are implemented and maintained.
  • Support the qualification and validation of material, process, equipment, and packaging changes to ensure quality, process capability, and operational efficiency targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate across site functions to align quality improvement activities with business objectives and operational performance goals.
  • Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing robust, sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage quality deviations including customer complaints, supplier issues, batch failures, and audit findings, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and closure.
  • Ensure effective containment and disposition of non-conforming materials and products to minimise business and customer risk.
  • Analyse quality and process performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects that enhance product quality, process capability, compliance, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Deploy new and revised quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements across the site.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and verification activities to confirm ongoing compliance with quality systems and standards.
  • Develop, review, approve, and maintain quality-related procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
  • Deliver training and coaching to promote site-wide understanding of quality requirements and best practices.
  • Support internal, customer, and certification audits as required.
