Quality Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer on a 6 month contract, to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Derby. This is a generalist quality engineering opportunity, focusing on driving product quality and continuous improvement.
Job Details
- Duration: 6 month contract - Outside IR35
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:45pm, Friday 8am - 12:30pm
- Rate: Hourly rate dependent on experience
- Location: Derby

Responsibilities
- Manage product quality issues, investigations, and production support.
- Lead root-cause analysis, 8D investigations, and non-conformance resolution.
- Work with manufacturing teams to prevent recurring quality issues and drive improvements.
- Liaise with customers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.

Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Quality Engineer within the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of product quality processes, including root-cause analysis, 8D, non-conformance management, and problem-solving.
