About The Role

As a Quality Engineer at our Elmdon Plant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products consistently meet customer and industry quality standards. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will act as the key quality contact throughout the full product lifecycle, from new programme launch through to end of life.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, driving continuous improvement, and influencing quality performance across manufacturing operations. You'll help deliver robust processes, support new product introduction activities, and ensure customer expectations are fully understood and achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will lead the resolution of customer quality concerns, provide proactive support and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented through structured problem-solving methods such as 8D.
  • You will manage quality requirements for new products through APQP, PPAP, ISIR and capability activities, while supporting prototype builds, design reviews, and production launches.
  • The role includes developing measurement systems and control plans, supporting PFMEA activities, conducting internal and external audits, managing customer quality KPIs, and working with suppliers to improve quality performance.
  • You will also monitor warranty performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support production teams through quality training and guidance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
