Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

£35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Bonus + Benefits

Are you a Quality Engineer or similar coming from a background within the Automotive/Manufacturing industry or a related field, with prior experience working to IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 standards, looking to join a highly respected company, recognised as leaders within the manufacturing industry, known as one of the UK's largest independent manufacturing businesses?

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out quality checks/inspections on a range of manufactured products
  • Maintaining and upgrading Quality Management Systems
  • Ensuring all product/technical documentation complies with manufacturing process and procedure requirements
  • Coaching production team members to ensure all products meet both quality and company standards
  • Completing audits, ensuring compliance, as well as customer and stakeholder management/liaison
  • Supporting the QA team in relation to any quality deviations

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience in a QE role or a related position
  • Background within the Automotive/Manufacturing industry or a related field
  • Experience inspecting to ISO/IATF standards
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communicational skills
  • Confidence to work both as part of a team, and autonomously
