Quality Engineer (Materials Testing / Laboratory)
£35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Bonus + Pension + Company Benefits

Are you a Quality Technician, Laboratory Technician, or Materials Testing professional looking to join a UK-leading manufacturer supplying precision-engineered polymer components to the aerospace, defence, energy, and advanced engineering sectors worldwide?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturer at the forefront of precision polymer machining, where you'll play a key role in ensuring product quality through laboratory testing, inspection, and continuous improvement activities.
In this role, you'll manage and operate the materials testing laboratory, carrying out a range of mechanical and material tests on raw materials, work-in-progress components, and finished products.

The Role:
- Operating and managing the Materials Testing Laboratory
- Conducting tensile, hardness, density, elongation, and DSC testing
- Preparing test specimens and operating laboratory equipment
- Managing calibration schedules and laboratory records
- Assisting with root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects
The Person:
- Experience within Quality, Laboratory Testing, Materials Testing, or Manufacturing Quality
- Background in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field beneficial
