Your New Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will play a key role in driving quality standards across the manufacturing operation. You will be responsible for supporting the continued development of quality systems, reducing non-conformance costs, leading improvement activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. You will work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and customers to maintain high levels of product quality whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Third-level qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality management principles.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D, and Cause & Effect analysis.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing special processes such as welding and painting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
