About the Team
You will join the Quality Management team, a collaborative group of 13 colleagues with strong product and process expertise, supporting high quality new product introductions. The team works closely with cross-functional partners including Quality, Engineering, Projects, R&D, Materials & Logistics, Human Resources, the Head of Plant, Purchasing, IT, and HS&E, while also maintaining regular interaction with customer and supplier representatives. The current portfolio includes control arms for key customers such as JLR and BMW. Day-to-day activities involve close alignment with the Head of Quality, including daily reviews of project status to identify and address potential roadblocks, as well as responsibilities in internal audits and documentation control.
The purpose of this position is to drive Quality Processes implementation, maintenance, effectiveness, and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with ISO, IATF, VDA standards and customer-specific requirements (CSRs), as well as strengthening risk control and mitigation across all relevant operations.

What you can look forward to as Quality Engineer - QMS
- Lead the Management Review process according to ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standard
- Drive compliance with quality management systems standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, etc.) and customer specific requirements and lead compliance with customer quality certifications (e.g.: JLR MSA, Ford MSA, BMW Requalification of product and processes, etc.)
- Lead 3rd Party Certification of quality management system standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, etc.)
- Driving business processes identification, standardization and optimization. Work as liaison with other support processes
- Lead External and Internal quality management system and process audit management (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, LPA, etc.) and customer specific requirements
- Responsible of document control of quality management system document/processes
- Lead internal Audit process & Drive closure of non-conformities raised
Profile description
Your profile as Quality Engineer - QMS:
- Minimum HND in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in Tier 1 Automotive supply chain; 1st & 2nd Party Auditor certification beneficial
- Deep understanding of Operations and Quality including deep knowledge and understanding of quality management system standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, etc.) and customer specific requirements
- Understanding and application of Quality Tools and Techniques (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) as well as deep understanding of problem-solving Techniques (8D/PPS/DMAIC)
- Structured, organised and self-motivated team player
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Minitab, IQ-RM; SAP Knowledge (QM module)
- Willingness to travel on company business for short periods as necessary
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and resolve conflict quickly
- Good verbal and written communication skills
