Quality Engineer – EMEA

Location: United Kingdom / Remote
Industry: Energy Storage / BESS / Complex Engineered Products

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join a global Quality team supporting the delivery of complex engineered products across EMEA. The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of quality issues, working from initial identification through supplier resolution, production, and project installation. You will work closely with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Project and Site teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement. Experience within manufacturing, complex engineered products, BESS, inverters or related industries would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own quality issues from initial identification through to final resolution.
  • Manage quality issues as individual projects, from component-level issues through to wider manufacturing and product concerns.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Work cross-functionally with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Project and Site teams.
  • Drive design changes where required and ensure changes are correctly implemented by suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Work directly with suppliers to investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
  • Conduct and follow up on First Production Quality Checks following design or process changes.
  • Ensure quality improvements are successfully carried through from manufacturing into project installation.
  • Analyse quality trends and identify recurring issues, escalating to 8D and CAPA processes where appropriate.
  • Support internal and third-party supplier audits.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels to achieve quality and project delivery objectives.
  • Prepare quality reports and presentations for Quality, Engineering and wider business stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently, take ownership and drive quality issues through to closure with minimal guidance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
