Hays are now looking for a Quality Engineer for one of our local clients:
£310 p/d Inside IR35
Remote
Must be eligible for SC Clearance
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business analysts to understand and interpret client requirements.
- Define, prepare and execute appropriate test scenarios.
- Support and enhance testing across the Customs Declaration Service application.
- Contribute to performance testing activity within a complex systems integration environment.
- Use Cucumber and Java as part of the test engineering approach.
- Manage and document testing activity using JIRA and Confluence.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider delivery team across bespoke, COTS and AWS-hosted components.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum five years of UK residency and eligible for SC Clearance
- Performance testing experience.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber.
- Strong Java capability.
- Experience using JIRA.
- Experience using Confluence.
