Hays are now looking for a Quality Engineer for one of our local clients:

£310 p/d Inside IR35
Remote
Must be eligible for SC Clearance

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business analysts to understand and interpret client requirements.
  • Define, prepare and execute appropriate test scenarios.
  • Support and enhance testing across the Customs Declaration Service application.
  • Contribute to performance testing activity within a complex systems integration environment.
  • Use Cucumber and Java as part of the test engineering approach.
  • Manage and document testing activity using JIRA and Confluence.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider delivery team across bespoke, COTS and AWS-hosted components.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum five years of UK residency and eligible for SC Clearance
  • Performance testing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Cucumber.
  • Strong Java capability.
  • Experience using JIRA.
  • Experience using Confluence.
