Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000 + Bens
We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join an established engineering and manufacturing business in Bournemouth.
This is a hands-on role focused on Product & Process Quality, Supplier Quality, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement. You'll work closely with manufacturing, suppliers, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Supplier Quality Improvement activities.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformances using Root Cause Analysis.
- Support manufacturing with product and process quality issues.
- Conduct internal, supplier, and process audits.
- Support ISO 9001 compliance and promote a strong quality culture.
- Manage NCR, corrective, and preventive actions.
- Support NPI projects and customer PPAP submissions.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce the cost of poor quality.
- Monitor and improve supplier performance.

About You
You'll ideally have:
- A Degree, HNC, NVQ or equivalent in Quality, Engineering, or a related technical subject, or relevant industry experience.
- Experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, NPI, and Supplier Quality.
- At least 6 months' relevant manufacturing experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good Microsoft Office/computer skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel when required.
