About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of engineering principles. You will act as a liaison between clients, project teams, and suppliers, facilitating smooth project workflows and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with project objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful engineering projects and to grow professionally within a forward-thinking organization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management within an engineering environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to challenges. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes is also important. Certifications such as PMP or equivalent will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality assurance protocols throughout project execution.
  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure technical specifications and design requirements are met.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within the organization.
