Overview

ENERCON is expanding its Corporate Quality organization and seeking a Quality Engineer to support and strengthen our Quality Management System across a diverse and technically complex portfolio of work.

In high-stakes environments, quality isn’t just a box to check – it’s a reputation to defend. As a Quality Engineer at ENERCON, you will safeguard that reputation by embedding quality into processes, decisions, and deliverables from project inception through execution.

This role can be based in any ENERCON office location, and possibly remote within the US for senior level candidates.

Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer plays a critical role within ENERCON’s Quality Management System and Quality Assurance Program. This role places a strong emphasis on auditing internal operations, suppliers, and project execution activities.

  • Auditing & Compliance: Plan and perform internal audits and external supplier audits and surveillances as a certified Lead Auditor. Exercise independent judgment to enforce requirements and stop nonconforming work when necessary.
  • Contract & Requirement Review: Review purchase orders, contracts, task orders, and agreements to ensure appropriate flow-down of quality requirements.
  • Quality Systems & Procedures: Review, revise, and improve quality procedures supporting the quality system, engineering, and project management. Support continuous improvement of ENERCON’s Quality Management System and Quality Assurance Program.
  • Corrective Action & Root Cause: Prepare, issue, and manage Corrective Action Reports using ENERCON’s Performance Tracking System. Perform or support causal analysis and verify corrective action effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations teams to resolve quality issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
