What You Will Do
As a Quality Engineer at Johnson Controls Great Yarmouth, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality, customer satisfaction and compliance with quality management standards. Working closely with production, engineering, supply chain and customers, you will lead investigations into quality issues, support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure effective resolution of customer complaints and non-conformances. This is an office-based role with regular interaction across manufacturing and operational teams.

How You Will Do It
- Investigate customer complaints, warranty issues and internal non-conformances to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage quality records, complaints and corrective actions within the Q-Pulse Quality Management System.
- Support and facilitate root cause analysis activities using recognised quality tools and methodologies.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes, reduce defects and enhance product quality.
- Monitor quality performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
- Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Liaise with customers regarding quality concerns, providing timely updates and resolution plans.
- Support supplier quality activities and contribute to supplier performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects across manufacturing and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements at all times.

What We Are Looking For
Required
- Experience within a quality engineering, quality assurance or manufacturing quality role.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and non-conformance processes.
- Experience investigating customer complaints and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.

Beneficial
- Experience using Q-Pulse, Navision or similar business systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
- Internal Auditor qualification or audit experience.
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Continuous improvement knowledge, including Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Understanding of warranty management and customer complaint processes.
